Welcome Home

We went home when Samantha was 26 hours old. They had first wanted us to stay for an extra day but she was doing so well that they let us go home. (Both Samantha and Mommy slept much better!) Grammy and Papa kept Dominic for an extra night and we both said how quiet it was in the house. We missed him like crazy when he was gone!

First Day Home:

Hanging out after our first night at home. Both Keith and I keep commenting that we can't believe how easy she is. She is just so mellow and sleeps well in her bassinett. She wakes up every two hours to nurse (the nurse at the maternity ward called her a text book nurser) and is very content. She does have her days and nights mixed up right now but I'm sure that will change soon.

Ok, I freely admit this picture is completely posed. Dominic has been such a good big brother though! He is always asking about the "baby" and loves her to death. For some reason he finds her feet hysterical!
